Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Unit provides a variety of endoscopy services including screening colonoscopies and upper endoscopy procedures. The high-tech suite features new equipment and expanded space for these complex outpatient procedures.
Endoscopy uses a small camera to internally view organs and requires sedation. Because patients are sedated for endoscopy, they must have someone to transport them following the procedure. The Berkshire Health North endoscopy unit makes it convenient for residents to have endoscopic procedures performed close to home.
Colonoscopy screenings may be scheduled through Berkshire Health’s Direct & Open Access system.
